INTRO TO WATER

This class is offered for parents who are unsure of how their child will feel or respond in the water, for parents who are feeling nervous about introducing their child to the water and/or for kids who have a fear of water. This class is NOT a swim lesson. In this class the goal is to help your child make a smooth transition into swim. Your instructor will use songs and games to help your child feel comfortable in and around the pool. We will safely introduce your child to the water as well as give you the opportunity to see how your child responds in the pool and to the instructor before moving forward with lessons.

Our Certified Red Cross Swim Instructors provide 1:1 private lessons for your child. With the luxury of coming to your home, your child is likely to feel more comfortable and relaxed with starting lessons. We implement a variety of techniques, games and skills in order to make swim class fun and exciting. Things you will see in class are breath control, immersion (starting with face only at first), floating, comfort in the water, water safety (self rescue habits), gliding, kicking, strokes and more.

For parents that want to be hands on and in the water, we offer a mommy and me class where an instructor is present in the water with the parent and child guiding and working with you throughout the lesson. This allows the parent to have hands on practice and help the child eventually transition to the instructor if preferred. These lessons also take place at your pool.

Private swim lessons offered at your home in a "class" setting. We offer group lessons for 3 kids as of now. Parents are to be present in the pool as the instructor leads a mommy and me style class for kids with similar skill levels. This is a great opportunity to do classes with friends and family that are also interested in lessons for their littles. Group lessons are also provided for siblings with similar skill levels as well.
